HUMBLE
The Latin words humus, ( meaning soil / earth, and homo, HUMAN BEING)
have a common root, from which we also get our word:
‘HUMBLE’.
Our language serves as a reminder that we are soil. We are fed by the same soil we are made of. We vibrate to the same frequency of our earthly plane-- that earth which with such humility and strength feeds us and lights up our very essence.
This 'being human' is to acknowledge that we’re made from the earth and will return
to the earth.
This 'being human' is to realise that the confidence and faith that we have is important to affirm,
but we must also be humble in recognising that there is so much more that we do not understand, or possess.
This 'being human' is to recognise that we have much in common with compost and mud
that contains the same chemicals that also make up our bodies.
This 'being human' is a recognising that:
We are god-breathed dust, made from the same humus as our earth.
We are mud balls who have been created in the image of GOD
We shall return to where we started.
Everything in between is a school of love.
